In our Video Compression course, we start by covering the fundamentals of video compression followed by application areas. The application areas specifically covers all the major Standards including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, and HDTV. We will also cover broadcast channels including satellite, terrestrial, cable, DSL, and internet (packet networks).
